The probes incorporate a Pt100 (100 Ohm RTD) sensor (to DIN 43760). The design of the probes allows direct insertion into a ¼” ID thermal well – the probe may be installed into a ¼” threaded socket and adjusted to the required depth. The probe stem is constructed of 316 stainless steel and the cable has a special TEFLON insulation covered in an overall silicon rubber insulation.
